Sudio Tolv Review

The Sudio Tolv looks very nice in the dark grey color, and the rubberized layer on the outside feels nice to touch. They also added a nice detail, the leather strap, that makes it look very nice. The overall build quality also feels good.

In the box we get the case, two earphones, a micro usb cable for charging, extra rubber buds, a warranty card and a user manual.

On the back of the case is a led light that lights up while the earphones are charging inside the case, so we don’t have to open the lid to check.

Charging the case from empty to full, takes about 1 hour, and it can charge the earphones about 4 times.

The earphones also have the same rubberised material on the surface, and a copper coloured physical button for controlling music and calls. There are a few other colour options, so check them out on their site if you don’t like this combination.

  • For controlling music we have the following functions:
  • Click once to pause or play.
  • Click twice on the left one to go back or to the previous song.
  • Click twice on the right one to go to the next song.
  • Hold to open the assistant.
  • With the Sudio Tolv we can also control the volume, by tripple clicking the buttons. Use the right one to increase, or the left one to decrease.

The battery on the earphones lasted about 5.5 hours on loud volume, but can last up to 7 hours if you play a bit lower.

The Sudio Tolv fit nicely in the ears, and are comfortable to wear, but the short stem doesn’t go very deep into the ear canal. This is good for comfort, if you find it uncomfortable to have them deeper, but it also means they will not be as tight.

They didn’t fall out while I was using them, but there is a risk of them fall out while doing activities like jogging. If I wear them continuously  for several hours, I did experience that they sometimes slide a bit out, and I had to readjust them to get the best sound experience.

The sound quality is quite good. Highs are crips and clear without getting uncomfortable, and without going too high, so the balance from high to low is nice. Mids are also good, with clear vocals and good separation. The bass is nice and punchy, and goes quite deep. It’s more than good enough, but not the most powerful I’ve hear. It’s got a nice ruble to it though, so I’m happy with the bass-levels.

The microphone is good enough for calls in silent areas, but as other in-ear earphones, the microphone is far from the mouth, so they struggle a bit in noisy areas.

Overall a good product, with very nice sound. But if I could change anything, I would add ear wings on them, so they would stay a bit firmer in the ears, and make them secure enough for using while doing sports.
