Alfawise HQB – Q32 Review

In the box we get the 3 sets of rubber buds, in different sizes, two small earphones, a micro usb cable for charging, and a charging case that’s got 1500 mAh of power.

Let’s start with the case. Even though it’s got a big battery, it’s not massive in size. It’s got a transparent lid, and in front is a LED display that shows the remaining capacity.

After charging the earphones from empty to full, the display went from 95% to 91%, so it will recharge them many times…
The build quality also feels quite solid, and it got some weight to it.

The earphones are very small and compact. Inside is a 50 mAh battery, that gave me a bit over 3 hours of loud music on a full charge. There’s no physical buttons on these, but there is a touch sensitive area, for controlling music and calls. Since the earphones are so small, I did experience some accidental touches, but overall the controls work well. We can play, pause, skip to the next song, and go back. Holding will open the assistant.

When it comes to the call quality, i’m not impressed, but they are usable for short calls in silent areas. This is a problem with most small earphones, as the microphone is quite far from the mouth.

They are also IPX5 splash proof, so they can get some water or sweat on them, without it causing any problems.

The earphones fit nice and snuggly into the ears. They’re very compact, so they don’t stick out at all. The battery is quite good, especially when considering the size of them. They really are very small and compact. To nitpick a bit, I must say they are a bit slippery, so I wish they had a rubbery layer on the outside, instead of the glossy finish. That would make them easier to handle.

When it comes to sound quality, they’re not bad at all. The sound is clear and there’s no background noise. The highs are good, but maybe a bit too high sometimes. This can of course be adjusted in the equalizer, so it can be somewhat fixed. The mids are also good.

Regarding bass, these earphones do provide enough punch and sound good, but they lack to lowest rumbles. It’s still punchy and nice though.

All in all a good set of earphones. The highs are a bit high for my taste, but overall the sound is quite good.
