Design

This is a very elegant looking watch. It’s beautifully designed and the model I have is rose gold color (also comes in silver with black leather bands), with brown leather bands.
The brown bands, brushed rose gold case, pearl white dial, rose gold hands and black text look very nice together!

Case

The case is made of stainless steel and has a beautiful brushed rose gold color. Actually, only the part that you can see from the top is brushed, while the sides are polished. This combo looks very nice. Around the glass there’s a small angled bezel, which is also polished. This gives a nice contrast to the case.
The crown also looks good, and has a star on the side.

On the back you’ll find the window to the automatic movement. The glass here is clear, so it no problem seeing the parts inside the watch. Here you can also see the Seiko movement model number NH36A.

Dial

The mineral glass covering the dial is slightly rounded, and goes almost from edge to edge.
I really like the color of this dial. When i first saw pictures of this watch I thought it would be a metallic white color, but it’s more of a pearl white, and it’s beautiful!
Hands are also rose gold-colored and so are the hour-markers. This gives an elegant look and at the same time makes it easy to read the time, as there’s enough contrast between the dial and the hands.
On the edge of the dial is the minutes markers in black lines and text.
There’s also a date and weekday window, all adjusting automatically as expected. When the day starts changing at midnight, it will first show you the weekday in Chinese language, and at 03:00 it will change to English. It’s also nice that the days are colored. Weekdays are black, while Saturday is blue, and Sunday is red.
This dial looks very good and everything on it is easy to read.

The lume on this watch is ok. As you can see in the pictures below only a portion of each hand is lumed. Hour markers and other details are not lumed, so you’ll have to tell the time from the hands only.

Bands

The bands are made of leather and comes in brown or black color. The quality feels good, and we have seen these types of bands many times before, but something feels different. They are a bit thinner on the portion closest to the watch. Earlier we have commented that the bands are a bit thick, but this time they feel better. They look the same as before, but feel a bit better around the wrist, since they are not as stiff/thick.

As usual there’s two band retainers, where one is fixed and one is adjustable.

One other nice detail about the bands are that they have a butterfly clasp. This makes it easier to take them on and off, and makes it feel a bit more exclusive.

Movement

The movement in this watch is a 24-jewl Seiko NH36A automatic movement, and it works very well.
After unboxing the watch i winded it up fully, and have been wearing it for 4 continuous days. At night it’s been laying on the nightstand. I did not wind the watch at all during this period, and the watch never stopped!
The power reserve is informed to be about 41 hours.

Wearing

Conclusion

This is a beautiful and expensive looking watch. It even feels expensive, and knowing that it has a Seiko movement, makes it even better.
I really like the design and the color combination is very good.
Material quality is great the movement is very accurate.
The watch size should fit most wrists as it’s not very big. If you have a large wrist, the bands can be a bit short.

This is not the cheapest watch out there, but it’s definitively worth the price! Thumbs up!
