First impressions

The first thing we notice while unpacking this watch, is how nicely it’s packed. The box itself looks good, and has a nice foam padding on the inside.
The package includes the watch, rubber bands, English instruction manual and a guid on how to assemble the watch.
The watch itself looks very good, with its color display and rubber bands. It’s not too thick, and looks good on the wrist.

Bands

The bands are made of rubber, and has a nice pattern all over. This adds to the impression, so it doesn’t look cheap.
Adjusting the watch to any wrist-size is easy, as the band has holes from edge to edge. It’s a pin style mechanism, and it sits very firm. During the test it has never fallen off by accident.

Main Unit

The main unit is of the all-in-one style, which means you don’t need to bring any cables for charging or connecting it to a PC. The USB-plug is built-in so you can just remove one of the bands and plug it in a power source (mobile charger or PC).
The B30 is compact and has a lot of functions built-in. First of all it has a nice color display, which is not a touch-screen, but there’s a touch button below the screen. This button is used to switch between the functions (clicking), and to activate certain functions you can hold the button for a few seconds to activate.
The color screen is clear and vibrant, and the UI is of 3D style, which makes it look unique.

Functions

There’s a lot of functions built-in to this smartband!
For starters there’s the functions that are always running in the background, to track your activities. These include pulse, blood pressure, steps, distance, calories and sleep tracking.
There are also a few functions that can be started manually on demand; Stopwatch, countdown, running mode and alarm.

Pulse is measured every 30 minutes, while blood pressure is measured every 10 minutes.
Steps, calories, distance is measured based on activity.
Sleep tracking shows how many hours you slept, deep sleep, light sleep, when you fell asleep, when you woke up and how many times you woke up during the night.

While in running mode you can continuously see the following on the screen; Pulse, calories, steps and time spent. The result will be saved in the app as a separate activity, so you can track the info specifically for each running session.

Conclusion

A very good-looking smartband, with a lot of functions. Long battery life (about 1 week with 24h monitoring of pulse, BP, steps etc.). It’s comfortable to wear and the size is right.
