Let’s just start by listing the items that come included in the package. We get a micro usb cable for charging the case, two earphones, with rubber buds in three different sizes, and a charging case.

The case is made of plastic, and it’s very light. It’s also very compact, so putting this in a pocket is not a problem. The magnetic lid works well, is easy to open, and stays closed during transport.
We have 310 mAh extra battery capacity with the case, which gives us 12 hours of playing music. On the back is a micro USB port for charging, and next to it is a led light. Charging the case from empty to full takes about 1.5 hours.

Inside are two black earphones, without any logos or branding. The look a bit like the QCY QS1/QS2 earphones, expect there’s no physical button on the GT1. The sound port/tube is also a bit shorter on the GT1, so they will not go as deep into your ear as the QCY. It doesn’t affect the sound quality, and might be a bit more comfortable for those of you who don’t like having them deep into the ear canal.

The earphones are also very compact and will sit nicely in the ear, without sticking far out, and they weight only 4 grams each, so you’ll hardly notice them at all. Usually with loud music i got between 3 and 3.5 hours before the battery was empty.

Touch buttons work well, and I haven’t had many accidental touches.
They can be used to control both music, and calls, but there’s no volume control on them.
Tapping once will play or pause, tapping twice will skip to the next or previous song, tapping three times will open the voice assistant.

The Haylou GT1 sit very stable in the ear, so they are good for using while jogging, biking etc.

The pairing process is straight forward, and works very well. I haven’t had and drops in connection, and they connect quickly.
Sound quality is also impressive. From low to high it’s all good, and the separation between vocal and mid-tones are noticeable better than for example the Xiaomi Airdots. Not by much, but it’s noticeable.
The bass is also good, so overall the sound is very good for such a low price.
