Stunning watch from Pagani Design! PD-2720K

Here’s a beautiful watch from Pagani Design. It has a very clean and stylish design. One thing to notice about this watch is that the seconds hand, is in a sub-dial instead of being placed together with the other main hands. The chamfered glass is also a very nice detail!

Review video and lots of pictures is at the bottom of this page.

Design

This is a classy looking watch, with safe details and colors. Most of the watch is silver and black, so there’s not much very exiting going on with the colors here. But, it looks very good and well designed. The chamfered edge of the case in combination with the chamfered edge on the glass is very nice!

The bands are also nice, and it has my favorite clasp type, the butterfly.

Case and window

The case is nicely made and looks quite compact for it’s size. The dial stretches from edge to edge, and not much of the case is visible when looking from the front.
From the side you can see the chamfered edge of the case, which match very well with the chamfered glass. The glass is quite thick and sticks out from the case. This looks nice and gives a premium feel.
The back of the case also looks nice, with all the text and logo nicely engraved. The cover is screwed on, so it’s quite easy to open.

The watch is rated 30M water resistance, so you can’t really use it under water, but it should handle daily use, like rain and splashes etc.

Dial

The dial looks very clean and stylish. The colour of the back is black, and there’s no pattern. Hours are marked in silver, while minutes/seconds are marked in white lines.
The bottom sub dial is used by the clock, and shows seconds, while the other two dials are used by the chronograph.
The chronographs seconds pointer is together with the main hands in the center of the dial. Chronograph sub dials show minutes and hours.

On many watches the sub dials are cut out “holes” in the dial, with a circular line around it, but on this one the separation is gradual before the lines. It looks a bit like a chamfered edge. This is a bit difficult to see in the images, so please check out the video at the bottom of this page. The “chamfered” area is the area where sub dials have their lines/markers.

Buttons on this watch has a click feedback when pushing them, so that’s nice.
As usual the top button is used as start and pause, while the bottom button is to reset.

The date wheel at 4 o’clock is also easy to ready as it’s black text on white background.

Telling the time in the dark is no problem, as the hands are lumed. No other details are lumed though…

Bands

The bands are metal and are solid built, so they have a good weight and quality feel to them. They match the watch design very well so there’s not too much to say about that. Have a look at the pictures below.

They are also comfortable to wear, and adjusting the length is easy with the standard pins.

The lock type is butterfly clasp, and it works very well.

Movement

The movement is marked Japan VK67A which i think is a Seiko movement.
Accuracy is +/-20 seconds per month.

Wearing

Conclusion

This is a good looking watch, and the chamfered glass sticking out of the case makes it look expensive.
The rest of the design also looks very good, and the overall quality feels very nice.
I like the clean look of the dial combined with the glass and silver details.

With a size of 46mm, it’s not a small watch, but it’s also not too big.
It sits comfortable on the wrist and I like the weight of it.

It also has chronograph and a date wheel, so that’s nice.

Remember to check out the video below.
